When we want to talk about a question in a larger sentence, we can treat the sentence as a phrase by using the \u300c\u304b\u300d question marker.<\/p>\n

  1. \u7530\u4e2d\u3055\u3093\u306f\u3044\u3064\u6765\u308b\u304b<\/em>\u3001\u5206\u304b\u308a\u307e\u3059\u304b\u3002
    \nDo (you) know when Tanaka-san is coming?<\/li>\n
  2. \u6765\u5e74\u3001\u65e5\u672c\u306b\u7559\u5b66\u3057\u306b\u884c\u304f\u304b<\/em>\u3001\u60a9\u3093\u3067\u3044\u308b\u3002
    \n(I’m) agonizing whether I should go to Japan next year for study abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    When it’s a yes\/no question, you can append an optional \u300c\u3069\u3046\u304b\u300d\u3000to represent the other choice.<\/p>\n
