In Japanese, the same notion is expressed by combining the te-form with the \u300c\u3082\u300d inclusive particle.<\/p>\n<h3>Example<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\u6771\u4eac \u3010\u3068\u3046\u30fb\u304d\u3087\u3046\u3011 &#8211; Tokyo<\/li>\n<li>\u3069\u3053 &#8211; where<\/li>\n<li>\u884c\u304f \u3010\u3044\u30fb\u304f\u3011 (u-verb) &#8211; to go<\/li>\n<li>\u3068\u3066\u3082 &#8211; very<\/li>\n<li>\u8fbc\u3080 \u3010\u3053\u30fb\u3080\u3011 (u-verb) &#8211; to become crowded<\/li>\n<li>\u6c17 \u3010\u304d\u3011 &#8211; mood; intent<\/li>\n<li>\u3059\u308b (exception) &#8211; to do<\/li>\n<li>\u4f55\u56de \u3010\u306a\u3093\u30fb\u304b\u3044\u3011 &#8211; how many number of times<\/li>\n<li>\u805e\u304f \u3010\u304d\u30fb\u304f\u3011 (u-verb) &#8211; to ask; to listen<\/li>\n<li>\u7b54\u3048 \u3010\u3053\u305f\u30fb\u3048\u3011 &#8211; answer<\/li>\n<li>\u540c\u3058 \u3010\u304a\u306a\u30fb\u3058\u3011 &#8211; same<\/li>\n<li>\u5927\u5b66 \u3010\u3060\u3044\u30fb\u304c\u304f\u3011 &#8211; college<\/li>\n<li>\u3044\u3044 (i-adj) &#8211; good<\/li>\n<li>\u4ed5\u4e8b \u3010\u3057\u30fb\u3054\u3068\u3011 &#8211; job<\/li>\n<li>\u898b\u3064\u304b\u308b \u3010\u307f\u30fb\u3064\u304b\u308b\u3011 (u-verb) &#8211; to be found<\/li>\n<li>\u3053\u306e &#8211; this \uff08abbr. of \u3053\u308c\u306e\uff09<\/li>\n<li>\u30a2\u30eb\u30d0\u30a4\u30c8 &#8211; part-time job<\/li>\n<li>\u5b66\u751f \u3010\u304c\u304f\u30fb\u305b\u3044\u3011 &#8211; student<\/li>\n<li>\u51fa\u6765\u308b \u3010\u3067\u30fb\u304d\u30fb\u308b\u3011 (ru-verb) &#8211; to be able to do<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li>\u6771\u4eac\u306f\u3001\u3069\u3053\u306b<em>\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3082<\/em>\u3068\u3066\u3082\u8fbc\u3093\u3067\u3044\u308b\u6c17\u304c\u3059\u308b\u3002<br \/>\nAs for Tokyo, (it) feels like it&#8217;s crowded wherever (you) go.<\/li>\n<li>\u4f55\u56de\u3082<em>\u805e\u3044\u3066\u3082<\/em>\u7b54\u3048\u306f\u540c\u3058\u3060\u3088\u3002<br \/>\nAnswer is the same no matter how many times (you) ask.<\/li>\n<li>\u5927\u5b66\u306b<em>\u884c\u304b\u306a\u304f\u3066\u3082<\/em>\u3001\u3044\u3044\u4ed5\u4e8b\u306f\u898b\u3064\u304b\u308a\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f<br \/>\nWill (I) find (a) good job even if (I) don&#8217;t go to college?<\/li>\n<li>\u3053\u306e\u30a2\u30eb\u30d0\u30a4\u30c8\u306f\u3001<em>\u5b66\u751f\u3067\u3082<\/em>\u51fa\u6765\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f<br \/>\nCan (I) do this part-time job even if (I&#8217;m a) student?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Asking for permission<\/h2>\n<p>We can also ask for or grant permission by saying it&#8217;s ok or fine even if we do a certain action using the same \u300c\uff5e\u3066\u3082\uff0f\uff5e\u3067\u3082\u300d grammar.<\/p>\n<h3>Example<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\u30c8\u30a4\u30ec\u306b\u884c\u3063<em>\u3066\u3082\u3044\u3044<\/em>\u3067\u3059\u304b\u3002<br \/>\nIs it fine even if (I) go to the toilet?<\/li>\n<li>\u304a\u59c9\u3055\u3093\u304c\u3001\u98df\u3079<em>\u3066\u3082\u3044\u3044<\/em>\u3068\u8a00\u3063\u305f\u3088\u3002<br \/>\nOlder sister said it&#8217;s fine to eat (it).<\/li>\n<li>\u9045<em>\u304f\u3066\u3082<\/em>\u6765\u9031\u307e\u3067\u306f<em>\u5927\u4e08\u592b<\/em>\u3060\u3002<br \/>\nEven if it&#8217;s late, it&#8217;s fine until next week.<\/li>\n<li>\u8eab\u5206\u8a3c\u306f\u3001\u5b66\u751f\u8a3c<em>\u3067\u3082\u5927\u4e08\u592b<\/em>\u3067\u3059\u304b\u3002<br \/>\nAs for identification, it is ok even if it&#8217;s (a) student id?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Things we don&#8217;t have to do<\/h2>\n<p>If we say it&#8217;s ok or fine even if we <b>don&#8217;t<\/b> do something by using the negative form, it means we don&#8217;t have to do it.<\/p>\n<h3>Example<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\u4f55\u3082<em>\u3057\u306a\u304f\u3066\u3082\u3044\u3044<\/em>\u3002<br \/>\nDon&#8217;t have to do anything.<br \/>\nlit: (It&#8217;s) good even if (you) do nothing.<\/li>\n<li>\u660e\u65e5\u306f\u4f11\u65e5\u3060\u304b\u3089\u3001<em>\u6765\u306a\u304f\u3066\u3082\u5927\u4e08\u592b<\/em>\u3067\u3059\u3088\u3002<br \/>\nTomorrow is (a) holiday, so (you) don&#8217;t have to come, you know.<br \/>\nlit: Because tomorrow is (a) holiday, (it&#8217;s) ok even if (you) don&#8217;t come.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things of no consequence The expressions &#8220;even if&#8221;, &#8220;regardless&#8221;, or &#8220;no matter&#8221; are used when something is of no consequence to something else.
